Within a single month, 739,000 tweets and 103,460,000 characters were analyzed to determine what brands was the most engaged on Twitter. While the top 10 most prolific content creators posted every 6 to 20 minutes, none of them made the list.
Each brand on this list has over a million followers. However, so do 70% of the least engaged brands. Consistency is relative as each audience is unique. Analyzing your tweet frequency will help you determine what your audience responds to best.
The most content is shared on Twitter on Wednesdays afternoon with Tweets sent between 2pm and 5pm (PST) tend to generate the most response. Pictures are worth 1,000 words with 76% of content being shared are photos and 18% videos.
